Corner Wardrobes. Wardrobe Sliding Doors in a corner
Hi is it possible to have wardrobe sliding doors in a corner of the room? Say an L shape 2m and 3m corner wardrobes? Is there any item to allow the doors to butt up?
yes, you can do this with the clever use of an end panel and a liner fixed at right angles. I've draw a rough (very rough and not to scale!) diagram of how this might work.
Alternatively you can simply make corner wardrobes by cutting and angling your track carefully at 90 degrees so that the doors butt against each other.
Personally I prefer the end panel option. It's more stable and gives you something to fix the hanging rails or shelves too.
The wardrobe corner section access is not perfect, but quite acceptable for hanging long clothes that don't get a lot of use or shelving.
Hope this helps
