Question about skirting boards

I have ordered a set of your wardrobe sliding mirror doors to fit wall wall in my bedroom. My house is victorian and the skirting boards are very high and decorative. How do I over come this?

There are 2 ways of dealing with skirting boards, both involve fitting wall liners.

1. Fit your wall liner to the top of the skirting board. This gives you a flush surface floor to ceiling for your doors to butt against


2. Cut a 100m section out of the skirting, where your doors will meet the wall. Then fit your wall liners from the floor to the ceiling

If you want to keep your decorative skirting boards intact then I would advise option 1.
